I personally use
Advertising Manager is does most advertising Networks.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advertising-manager/

I prefer this over template/theme based adsense as when you change theme's they are lost and you have to start all over again.

I normally add the adsense to the post (Note: Make sure you only have 3 post displaying per page othewise your in breach of Adsense TOS)

Your instructions sounds so easy. Didn't think about borrowing articles from article sites. Will try it.
BTW are you using wp plugin for adsense too? May be you can recommend one which is better from your practice? Thanks

Hi Vi,
           Glad you asked!

10 Domains would take me a day in total to setup manually.

Here's what sort of time frame I use

(10mins) Buy a hosting account with a CPANEL web host provider which allows you to host mutliple domains.
(20Mins) Delegate the Domains to point to the providers servers
(20mins) Setup invidiual accounts or subdomains (pointing the domain to subdomain)
(30mins) Using Cpanel One Click install Wordpress on all domains / directories.

Have a Break!

(120mins) Spend time in getting articles for ezarticles.com and articlecity.com and posting them into a notepad or word document (try and get at least 5 for each domain) KEYWORD RELEVANT

Have Another break you're going well!

(30mins) Paste the articles into the blogs One for today and schedule the rest 3-5 days apart
(30mins) Add Google Analytics to your blog (Tip: Use a plugin this will have you hrs!)
(30mins) Add Google Adsense (My experience has been those domains I ad adsense are index by google quick than those who don't have adsense)

Almost there have another break.
(30mins) Submit your sites to google, yahoo and bing.

Basically that's quick way of doing this manually to get online.
I personally have a system that can register my domains setup hosting and wordpress blog etc so it's alot faster for me.

Hi Myles,
if you are buying lets say 10 domains, it takes some time to set up everything (cms installation, content preparation and etc). What is best option - park that domain somewhere or create at least temporary front page with some related content ?

Yes, I have been through the same process with Parked.com as you did and the same stupid response. Its the sort of letter that puts you off doing any sort of business with them whatsoever. Parked.com just don't get good customer service and don't deserve our custom. Glad you found such a promising alternative.

I lost my facebook name to a grade 10 student of same name in the USA. So I don't mind, since it's a valid person of same name that took it. You have to be quick and I was 10 hours late to the draw.

I don't use my personal facebook account for my internet marketing anyway so I'm not really fussed. Just would have been nice.

Glad I have my domain name, and all my kids have their domain names, that's the important thing.

Thanks Jason I appreciate your comments..

Let's be honest Jake Smith has no idea what he/she is doing.
Because if you where going to sell or monetise the facebook vanity url you use the vanity url on a GROUP. Becuase the group can change admin owners and it's the only way I know that you could "transfer" such a name without the hassle of asking facebook and also add affiliate links product review etc etc to monetise, it's a no brainer.

Currently http://facebook.com/yourname (don't want to give him anymore traffic than he needs) is going to a locked user profile named Jake Smith when I first clicked on the url and saw the page I though "That was pointless".

I can't see how this Jake Smith is going to make money off your reputation, when he can't transfer/redirect the name and his profile doesn't relate. I can see your point that facebook is responsible for letting him registering the name in the first place but to be honest I can't see Jake Smith be unable to do anything with the url.

First of all, you can't legally trademark a personal name. So no luck there.

Secondly, if another Jason Moffatt had registered the name first, you wouldn't of heard a word from me. I would of graciously accepted that another Jason was quicker on the draw then me.

But that's not the case. What has happened is some schmuck has squatted on my name. Call that whining if you want, but I take my reputation seriously and don't enjoy letting others tarnish it by pretending to be me.

The vanity URL serves NO PURPOSE for this Jake Smith and Facebook should recognize this. And if you can't understand that, then I'm truly puzzled. It's a pretty cut and dry issue and doesn't take a genius to recognize what happened was wrong.

Buying and selling domains is not a hot issue to be discussed nowadays and you can see many people buy domain to create blog.I use go daddy code all the time and it really helps to save me money while brainstorming ideas for domains. Other codes in this family include ZINE1 (Save 10% on anything), and ZINE2 (Save $5 off $30).
